Fishing the world famous Kenai River is a dream come true for even the most discriminating of anglers. Each summer the largest native King Salmon in the world return to spawn in her glacial-fed waters. These highly prized Salmon challenge the most experienced of anglers, with many rewarded each year with a trophy catch over 75 pounds! The only river in the world to have 4-7 year Kings, the Kenai is truly in class by herself. The headwaters of the Kenai River offer trophy Rainbow Trout, reaching upwards of 20 pounds! Drifting through the upper Kenai River offers a chance to view pristine wilderness, as well as the best Rainbow Trout fishing on the Kenai Peninsula. Coho, Silver, and Pink Salmon also return to the Kenai River by the thousands, offering the angler a variety of fishing throughout the season.Lakes abound on the peninsula, offering Lake Trout, Kokanie, Arctic Char, and Dolly Varden. Many of these lakes are accessible by dirt road or a short hike. There are many, many opportunities to also take fly-out trips to even more remote areas with tremendous fishing and sightseeing opportunities.  A great description of many of the possible trips is shown on the 2010 packages website page.
